A favorite treat in our house are homemade slushies. I am always looking for new ways to use my Ninja Blender, so it only makes sense to use it for awesome slushies! Following on the success of my Ninja Banana Bread recipe, I hope that my homemade slushies would end up just as yummy. My two children were more than willing to let me test this one out!
Here are the ingredients:
Ice
Flavoring- We used Hawaiian Punch snow cone flavoring and a can of Coke Zero
That’s all you need to make a yummy slushie! Of course, you could use any kind of flavoring you want or any kind of soda, but we picked what we thought would be good. The Hawaiian Punch flavor was blueberry. We also had a grape flavored one, but we didn’t use it.
In the last picture with the Coke Zero, we added a little bit of cream to kind of mimic a float. If you wanted a more adult slushie, you could always make one with amaretto or kahlua with some cream. Yummo!
Let me know what you think about my Ninja slushie recipe! I’d love for you to share with me the variations you made in your house. Please join in on our conversations on my Facebook page!
