Fall is the season of cozy sweaters, colorful leaves, and of course, pumpkin-flavored everything! One of my favorite fall treats is Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. The warm, comforting aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg filling the kitchen is simply irresistible.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice.
In another bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it out evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Slice, serve, and enjoy the wonderful flavors of fall in every bite! This Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread is perfect for breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon snack. Plus, it's a great way to celebrate the season with family and friends.
